Celia Gray is an artist making paintings, sculptures, and textiles in her studio in Carrboro, NC. She started in the craft tradition at Penland School of Crafts and remains rooted in materials and process. She earned a BFA from UNC Asheville and received an MFA from Rutgers University with a focus in painting. She shows locally and nationally and founded Color Fields Art Space, an art studio for children that focuses on curiosity, process and materials, located in Durham, NC.
